Treasure Island Resort Description:
There claims to be plenty of room to roam at this sprawling complex, which has a pool with adjacent bar and encompasses a small section of Seven Mile Beach.
Treasure Island Resort Location:
Located near to the beginning of Seven Mile Beach on the Grand Cayman Island, the holiday location known as the Treasure Island Resort is just 3 miles from Owen Roberts International Airport and 1 mile from George Town, Grand Cayman's capital with duty free shopping, Cayman Island's National Museum and a multitude of diverse restaurants and area attractions.
Treasure Island's central location apparently makes it a safe and easy walk to local restaurants, shopping and tourist attractions. Grand Cayman claims to be widely known for its good food and variety of restaurants from Chinese and Thai to Indian and Italian to Seafood and Steaks, guests say everybody will find something they love to eat when staying at the Treasure Island Resort.
When the sun goes down it is possible to enjoy the Caribbean night at one of the many nightspots featuring calypso, rock, socca or R&B, all are within walking distance or a quick ride up the street.
Treasure Island Resort Rooms:
Treasure Island claims to offer 277 guestrooms. All feature a private patio or balcony, central air conditioning, ceiling fan, color satellite TV, mini-refrigerators, full bathrooms, direct dial telephone with dataport and voice mail, in-room safe (at an additional charge) and a choice of either a king size bed or two queen size beds.
There are apparently three categories of guestrooms available:
Standard:
These guestrooms offer assorted views of the island.
Pool View:
Guestrooms overlook one of the three pools surrounded by a variety of palms and flowering trees.
Partial Ocean View:
There is said to be only a limited few of these guestrooms which overlook a pool and the beach. The stretch of Seven Mile Beach is apparently breathtakingly enhanced everyday by the daily wonder of an amazing sunset, visitors have said this category allows for the perfect view.
