Pitares Point Resort Description:
For watersports or just relaxing, this resort near West End Point claims to offer a family environment with gourmet cuisine, although it's said to be a notch down from Little Cayman Beach Resort.
Pirates Point Resort Rooms:
The resort claims to have remodeled rooms with fresh paint, new linens and a non-air-conditioned family cottage with two bedrooms. In addition, it is said to have four seaside cottages, with balconies overlooking Preston Bay. The bathrooms are well maintained, with shower stalls.
Pirates Point Resort Room Amenities:
Each of the 10 individual beachfront cottages are appatently simple, tasteful and immaculate. All cottages are said to be decorated in pastel hues and come with terra cotta tiled floors, bed spreads, rattan furnishings, ceiling fans and a private bathroom.
Some of the Pirates Point Resort units are located at the beach front, but have no air-conditioning. Others are newer and have air-conditioning, but are set back a little further from the sea. Guests say there is daily maid service, and laundry facilities are available for guests to use.
Pirates Point Activities:
The resort claims to have a small swimming pool and a jacuzzi, which were recently added to the resort for guests to enjoy. Pirates Point also claims to offer the use of bicycles, beach towels, hammocks and chaise loungers to all guests.
Diving: Pirates Point Resort apparently have their own dive boat and five dive instructors, so both beginners and experienced divers are welcome. Great snorkeling is said to be found right in front of the resort as well.
