Morritts Tortuga Club and Resort Description:
On 3 beachfront hectares (7 1/2 acres) on the east end of the island, this resort claims to offer some of the island's best diving. the resort is said to be profiting from its position near offshore reefs teeming with marine life, it's the site of Cayman Windsurfing, which offers snorkeling and windsurfing, and rents sailboats and catamarans. visitors say Tortuga Divers that are also on the premises, offers resort courses.
Morritts Tortuga Club and Resort Accommodations:
About a 42km (26-mile) drive from the airport, the club is apparently composed of clusters of three-story beachfront condos opening onto the water. The condos were said to be built in the Antillean plantation style from the wreckage of a former hotel.
Many of the Morritts Tortuga Club and Resort accommodations are rented as timeshare units. Some of the apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, although many guests claim they opt for meals in the complex's restaurant. Each unit has a small bathroom containing a shower.
The units may provide air-conditioning, satellite television, full kitchen, telephone and private balcony.
Morritts Tortuga Club and Resort Activities:
There are apparently a great many activities available for guests including a complete dive operation with certifications and resort courses offered, wind surfing and instruction, bicycles, tennis, wave runners, snorkeling and other water sports.
The resort also claims to feature a planned guest activities program that is said to include international food theme nights, island sight-seeing tours, Caribbean cooking demonstrations, live island entertainment, dance and limbo contest and much more.
