Club Peace and Plenty Description:
Located on Elizabeth Harbour in the middle of town, the Club is said to be a beautiful 32 room resort, including 3 two-room suites, overlooking Elizabeth Harbour.
Club Peace and Plenty Room Options:
Room choices may include Harbour water front view, pool side, Garden suites, or two-room suites. All rooms should include air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-fridge, hair-dryer, private bath, and in room satellite television.
Club Peace and Plenty Restaurants and Bars:
The hotel's Gourmet restaurant claims to offer local cuisine including Grits with breakfast and Conch burgers for lunch. The dinner menu can range from steak to seafood including Grouper, which is said to be a local favorite.
The Club Peace and Plenty apparantly has two bars; The "Pool Deck Bar" and inside is the "Slave Kitchen" bar. The inside bar is air-conditioned.
Since guests say the Club is right in the middle of town, guests say they are close to grocery shopping, site seeing and fun activities including sail boat rental, snorkeling, diving and motorboat rental.
Twice a week (Friday & Monday) the Club claims to sponsor a cocktail party for their guests. Other nights may include live Calypso music, dancing and Karaoke. The Club Peace and Plenty is said to be Exuma's gathering place for the townspeople and visitors from all over the island.
Other Activities
There is also said to be very good diving spots nearby to the resort and the beach is apparently only a few minutes away. Visitors say that the shopping in George Town is very good and that there is a wide selection of items, but they can be quite expensive.
